I'm Isabella. Brazilian, twenty-five, currently writing from a new city with big windows and a sky I can see from my bed.

I've been making up worlds since before I understood it was something you were allowed to keep doing. As a kid, it was playtime stories with my friends. Somewhere along the way it turned into a whole life. I studied journalism in Brazil, which taught me to chase a story anywhere and ask the uncomfortable question. Then I moved across the world for a master's in literary studies and publishing, because the pull toward the page never once let go of me.

Now I write fantasy. The kind with folklore threaded through it, and grief, and found family, and the sort of magic that lingers after you close the book.

My debut series, The Chronicles of Dalibor, is the thing I've been quietly building toward the whole time. It's about a continent built on a lie, a kingdom that has forgotten how to be afraid, and the generation that arrives when the fire barriers begin to fail. At its heart is a kitchen girl with no magic and a name that isn't hers, a prince raised by a father who weaponizes everything he loves, and the found family who orbit them as the world starts to crack.

I write the way I live: a little too honestly, a little too much, all in. Some days I'm afraid the words will outgrow me. So I write them down.
